Was speaking with Anto the other day. We were talking in general about how happy children were. They didn't have a reason to be happy. They simply were. It was the observation of my second niece. I could easily relate to how everyone has been in that phase of being happy for no reason to the deplorable state of restricting happiness to events...
Well, Anto made an excellent observation at this juncture: We have investments in our lives (and hence the associated fear, avarice, ... Let's call it baggage). Children don't have any.
True... experientially true!

How strange - I was speaking to my friend about the same thing a couple of days back. We were looking at his son's pictures and then the topic deviated to this.

Hi Maha,
Thanks for dropping by and appreciate the diligent comments you leave in this space :)
Haven't been into blogging much these days. But wanted to reply to this observation of yours that "all our golden days are past". No it's not true. Just that we are lost in the process of life, stuck up. If you know the way to live, to live means, to live life in its fullest sense, then every moment is a golden moment to be. For me, my life is once again like what you observed about children no fear, no worries, nothing... am simply happy. I wish this should happen to everyone in the world, and of course you. If you had been through this blog, you could have noticed where the sense and wisdom came from. You should seek and experience that too :)
You can drop an email if you wish too
Regards
Rams
