Got to see three movies this weekend.
Pollaadhavan: Nice movie. I liked it. The movie was moving at a fast pace but for the inappropriate positioning of the songs. Clearly, the pick of the Diwali Tamil movies. The performance of Dhanush and Daniel Balaji deserve a mention.
Taare Zameen Par: What a wonderful movie! Was very happy to see such a high quality movie from Bollywood. The director in Aamir has etched every scene and has extracted an excellent performance from everyone in the movie, especially the children. They were so natural. The performance of Aamir himself was very beautifully done. And the foundation of the movie, the boy who donned Ishaan, am sure will get the best child artiste award for the year. Music by Shankar, Ehsaan, Loy was also excellent. Overall, a must watch movie.
Ratatouille: Pixar never failed to amaze me and this movie is no exception. The way these story writers weave the magic fabric with their imaginations knowing no bounds is dumbfounding. So seamlessly they build the emotions, humor, human sentiments, music, dance, everything... through the animated characters. Being an animation movie freak, I enjoyed the movie very much.
